Professional Guide

You will be taken care of beginning the moment you meet your tour guide to the end of your private tour at the hotel in Pangkalan Bun, or the airport.

Transport

Your guide will allow you to enjoy a peaceful couple, or family time, alone on the top deck of your klotok while travelling around the park, only interrupting you to inform you of any interesting animals, or to inform you that the time to eat is over, or that it’s time to leave for the land. They will guide you in the forest along trails that lead to and from feeding points, as well as for short walks at night also, if you’d like.

Accommodation

The accommodation is luxurious, gorgeous and traditional thatched roof bungalows. Our guides will ensure you will have a wonderful experience and let you wander through the forest and villages during your leisure time.

Meal Local

Three meals per day would include snacks and soft drinks, plus water and sweetened juices. Corn oil is utilized in cooking on our tours as frequently as is possible (depending on availability). Athough it’s 5 times more expensive than Palm oil however, we do not believe that it’s appropriate to use Palm oil due to it devastating orangutan habitats.

It is also possible to use the orangutan tour, which means you can send us an email with any questions or concerns. We will try to reply to all messages within 24 hours during working days, and we also respond to important emails at the weekends too.

Flexible

All of our tanjung puting tour can be customized for you according to your flight’s time of departure and arrival, and whether you have any specific interests or needs. We will provide you with a quotation and possible itineraries based on the information provided by your flight arrival. All quotes include travel via regular klotok. You may be able to buy larger klotoks for an additional cost. For more information, read below. The larger klotoks might be fully booked during the peak season, and therefore can’t be guaranteed until the booking is confirmed.
